Chanarat lab

Laboratory of Molecular Medical Mycology, Department of Biochemistry, Faculty of Science, Mahidol University

About

Our lab focuses on two key areas:
  1. Understanding the role of ubiquitin-like modifiers in regulating stress responses within pathogenic yeasts and fungi.
  2. Investigating the molecular biology of pathogenic multi-drug resistant yeasts and fungal-like organisms, including Cryptococcus neoformans, Candida auris, and microsporidia.
To achieve this, we employ a range of combined methodologies, including genetics, transcriptomics, proteomics, live-cell imaging, and molecular biology.
💡
We have an open position for a PhD student with a full scholarship available. For more details, please contact Sittinan. (Last updated: 17 April 2024)
